A clutch simply is a power transmitting element using friction. Its main drawback is that it does not have positive power transmission, slip may take place. Thus in order to avoid this we have a new project which uses magnetism to transmit power. The power of electro magnet can be easily controlled by adjusting the amount of current supply. With some simple sensors this can be achieved.
